Study on Effect of Omega-3 on Major Depression  

CANADA (January 12, 2006) - According to an article in Le Devoir, researchers at The Hospital complex of the University of Montreal (CHUM) are about to embark on a study of the effects of Omega-3 from fish oil on major depression. According to the article, CHUM, along with researchers at several other Canadian universities will recruit more than 500 patients in a study also funded in part by Belgium-based supplement company Isodisnatura, the source of the study's Omega-3 containing products.
